[accordion-item title=”Rules related to behavior”]

We ask your help in maintaining this historic venue. Please use trash receptacles provided and observe event rules. Contribute to making the Miller Theater a place that everyone enjoys.

An event-appropriate dress code standard may be enforced.

Your ticket indicates which areas you have access to and/or which seat is yours for the evening. For concerts where it is appropriate to stand, guests will not be asked to sit down. However, standing on seats or in aisles, foul language, disruptive or potentially dangerous activity will not be permitted. Attempting to gain access to restricted areas, sneaking in prohibited items, use of tobacco products in the theater or ignoring the requests of event staff can result in your ejection from the event without refund.

At Augusta Symphony events, guests will be asked to stay seated and to refrain from disruptive noise during the performance. Late arrivals may be held outside the hall until there is a break in the performance.

Most events will have a no re-entry policy which means you may not leave the event and return without an additional ticket. This may not be posted on every door. Please review specific event policies before leaving the theater. Always retain your event ticket during the event.[/accordion-item][accordion-item title=”Illegal activity”]

No illegal drugs or illicit substances may be brought into the venue for any purpose. Underage alcohol consumption or attempting to provide alcohol to underage persons is illegal, considered a serious offense and will be cause for immediate ejection from the event. Selling counterfeit or “scalped” tickets or unauthorized merchandise in or around the theater is also illegal. Willful destruction of property, trespassing and vandalism is illegal. Illegal activity will be reported to the proper authorities.

Please report any concerning behavior to the General Manager or nearest event staff.

[/accordion-item][accordion-item title=”Camera & recording devices”]

In general, personal cameras without detachable lenses and cell phones are permitted. Professional cameras, recording devices, video cameras, tripods, drones etc. are not permitted without express written permission and approved media credentials.

However, each artist has their own rules regarding cameras and recording devices and those will be posted with the event-specific information if different from the general venue policy. If an artist has a more restrictive policy such as “no cell phones,” then we will enforce that policy during the event.

[/accordion-item][accordion-item title=”Emergency procedures”]

In the event of an emergency, the PA system will be used to provide the most accurate information possible. Please follow the directions of the event staff. Depending on the nature of the emergency, we may ask for guests to shelter in place, direct them to specific exits, or activate all exits. We employ police and EMTs for each event. Your corporation and active listening can help save lives.
