Resurrection | A Journey Tribute
Since 2014, Resurrection has built a reputation for being the gold standard by which other Journey tributes are measured. In its near decade long existence, the band has developed a Facebook following of over 52,000, nearly twice that of the next most followed Journey tribute act. During that time, the band has played in nearly 40 of the 50 states in the United States, including playing for 40,000 Chicago White Sox fans at US Cellular Field as part of their 10th anniversary celebration of having won the 2005 World Series. Resurrection’s torch landed in the capable hands of Bryan Cole in 2023, and the band continues to race forward with no intention of slowing down. The band is adding songs from the Journey catalogue previously not performed on any of its prior tours. The new “Still They Ride” tour has launched, aptly named to proclaim the band’s perseverance and ability to sustain its excellence through change. Herb will be 90 years old on March 31st, his classic album, “Whipped Cream & Other Delights” will be 60 years old, Herb and his wife Lani are still celebrating their marriage of 50 years and due to an out-pouring from long time fans, Herb will, for the first time in over 35 years, be touring throughout 2025 with an all new “Tijuana Brass”. All of those great hit songs and wonderful memories that we all grew up listening to will be performed by Herb and his exciting new touring band in a once in a lifetime concert tour! This show will be an evening with, music icon Herb Alpert and his brand new Tijuana Brass. Herb along with his 6 great musicians will be playing all of your favorite Tijuana Brass hit songs just as you remember hearing them while growing up. 2025 will mark the 60th anniversary of the iconic album, “Whipped Cream & Other Delights”. Herb and the band will be performing many of those great songs in addition to many other hit songs that we all know; “The Lonely Bull”, “Spanish Flea”, “Taste of Honey”, “Mexican Shuffle”, “Tijuana Taxi”, “This Guy’s In Love With You”, “What Now My Love”, “Zorba the Greek”, “Ladyfingers”, “Rise” and many other delights.
