COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Our staff and patron safety is of paramount importance to the Miller Theater and Augusta Symphony. We have taken the Georgia Safety Promise to ensure a safe, and fun, experience for all. Please see below for steps our staff and patrons are taking.
What we’re doing to keep you safer:
- Limiting capacity according to CDC guidelines
- Health screening our staff before each shift, including temperature screening
- Requiring our staff to wear face coverings at all time
- Ensuring physical distance between groups (APRIL 2021 UPDATE: 3 FEET OF DISTANCE REQUIRED)
- Providing public hand sanitizing stations
- Providing contactless ticket scanning
- Requiring staff to frequently wash hands and sanitize between interaction with patrons
- Frequent disinfecting of high touch surfaces
- Supporting our security team in their enforcement of the rules and removing anyone who is not behaving safely
- Staffing a cleaning crew for the entire duration of the event
What you’re doing to stay safer:
- Embracing the vital role of personal responsibility during this time, and showing respect for all of the people in your space by following guidelines
- Staying home if you’re feeling unwell, or if you’ve recently had exposure to someone with COVID-19
- Wearing a face covering at all times while at the Miller Theater
